This is a jar of Spalted Tamarind with a top of Gabon Ebony with a button of the South American Tagua nut, which is sometimes called vegetable ivory.  You can't imagine how hard it is to get my hands on an elephant tusk.

I made some book ends with some scrap Red Mallee burl and other scrap woods.
